Welcome to the Web site of Urban Tapestry, a Toronto-based filk/folk trio consisting of Allison Durno, Jodi Krangle and Debbie Ridpath Ohi. We've performed in Canada, the U.S., England and Germany, and have won several Pegasus Awards including Best Performer (1997 and 2004), Best Filk Song (2004, Jodi's "The Lady"), and Best Food/Drink Song (2000, Debbie's "My Jalapeno Man", which tied with Tom Smith's 307 Ale).

2008: It's our 15th anniversary as a group this year, woohoo!

EXCITING NEWS: We've been invited to be the Musical Guests of Honor at Balticon on May 23-26, 2008. Balticon is the Maryland Regional Science Fiction and Fantasy Convention, the area's largest and longest running convention of its kind and is attended by over 2000 sf/fantasy fans.

All three of us will be attending FilKONtario in Toronto.
