About Us

Allison Durno, Jodi Krangle, and Debbie Ridpath Ohi are a trio of women based in Toronto.

We all write songs for the group; our individual musical tastes are pretty different, which helps make our mix of songs that much more fun to perform. We’re all proud to be members of the filk community, and these days we tend to only perform at filk conventions.

We’re friends as well as musical partners, and tend to hang out with each other in person as well as online, even when we have no upcoming gigs. We’ve been together since 1993, and our songs have been aired on Dr. Demento, CBC radio and Prairie Celidh, and we’ve performed concerts in England, Germany, the U.S. and Canada.

We feel honoured to have been nominated a bunch of times for Pegasus Awards. Our awards include:

Best Song (2004) for “The Lady”
Best Food/Drink Song (2000) for “My Jalapeno Man”, tied with Tom Smith
Winner of the 2006 Aurora Fan Achievement (Other) award
